Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has directed the creation of a clear mechanism for the financing and implementation of the Development Road project, following a meeting with the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, and his delegation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion highlighted the strong ties between Iraq and Turkey, underscoring shared interests and commonalities. Al-Zaidi emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in economic and investment fields for the mutual benefit of both nations. He also mentioned that his upcoming visit to Turkey will include the signing of several memoranda of understanding aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation across various vital sectors.
