Baghdad: Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, praised the security forces involved in securing the Arba'een pilgrimage to Imam Hussein's shrine.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister's media office issued a press release in which he expressed his commendation for the security personnel safeguarding the pilgrims traveling to the holy city of Karbala. Al-Zaidi's message was broadcast via radio from the Cameras, Administration, and Control Department at the Karbala Police Directorate.
The statement highlighted the Commander-in-Chief's gratitude and appreciation for the tremendous efforts of the security forces in ensuring the safety and protection of the pilgrims. Despite challenging weather conditions, the security personnel were lauded for their efficient, disciplined, and dedicated performance, which embodies the highest ideals of responsibility and devotion.
Al-Zaidi emphasized that these sincere efforts by the security forces are a source of pride for all Iraqis. He noted that their commitment to the success and security of the pilgrimage ensures a safe environment for the millions of visitors attending the event.
