Baghdad: The Government Spokesperson Haider Al-Aboudi announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi will receive Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and the accompanying ministerial delegation at the Government Palace in Baghdad later today.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi will host his Lebanese counterpart, Nawaf Salam, along with the accompanying ministerial delegation, at the Government Palace. The agenda includes a bilateral meeting between the two prime ministers, followed by an expanded session attended by ministers responsible for cooperation files between the two brotherly countries.

The discussions are set to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in development and energy sectors. Additionally, the talks will cover regional and international issues of mutual interest, aiming to foster closer ties between Iraq and Lebanon.
