Baghdad: Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has ordered an emergency meeting of the National Security Council today, Wednesday, in response to the evolving security situation and the airstrikes that targeted the country this morning.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell announced that a detailed statement concerning the events and the decisions made will be released after the meeting concludes.
