Baghdad: A security source announced the lifting of alert level (C) and the resumption of leave for security and military forces, with the exception of commanders and officers, according to directives from the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell announced on Thursday that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces had directed the raising of the security readiness and combat preparedness level of the security and military forces. This directive includes conducting training exercises and troop movements, all within the framework of maintaining a high level of readiness for all formations of the security forces.

In a statement, it was explained that this step aims to enhance the forces' ability to perform their duties, which contributes to consolidating security and stability and protecting citizens and public interests.
