Madrid: Ambassador Ali Shamran presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iraq to Spain to the Deputy Head of Protocol at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Raºl Mu±oz, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release that the meeting addressed the current state of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Madrid and ways to enhance them in line with the shared interests of both countries. The discussion underscored the importance of mutual cooperation and the desire to strengthen diplomatic ties.

The Ambassador expressed his aspiration to work towards strengthening ties between the two countries and enhancing communication channels to support bilateral cooperation and open new horizons for partnership. His appointment marks a significant step in fostering Iraq-Spain relations.
