Baghdad: President Nizar Amedi on Tuesday underscored the importance of fostering dialogue and mutual understanding among Iraq's various political forces.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement issued by the Presidency's Media Office detailed President Amedi's meeting at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad with Raed Fahmi, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party, and his accompanying delegation. The discussion focused on the latest developments on domestic and regional fronts and explored ways to support stability and advance development efforts.

President Amedi emphasized the need to consolidate dialogue and understanding among different political forces, suggesting that such endeavors would help unify positions in addressing current challenges and fulfilling citizens' aspirations for security, public services, and sustainable development.
