Maysan: The Maysan Governorate Police Command announced today that the Antiquities and Heritage Protection Police Department received a group of rare artifacts found by a number of citizens in Al-Bateera and Al-Mashrah districts of Al-Amara.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated that the handover process took place in the presence of the governorate’s police Commander. The artifacts included seals, precious stones, and coins dating back to the Islamic era, in addition to sculptures and rare pieces of high historical value.
