Karbala: The Department of Rituals, Processions, and Hussayni Organizations at the Holy Abbasid Shrine has announced the participation of 233 Arab and foreign processions in the commemoration of the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the department head, Ali Musleh, confirmed that these processions, comprising both service and mourning elements, represented several Arab and Islamic countries. Musleh emphasized the department's commitment to ensuring the orderly conduct of the pilgrimage through a well-devised organizational plan.

The plan includes provisions for facilitating the participation of these processions in providing services and conducting mourning rituals. The Holy Abbasid Shrine's organizational strategy aims to support the pilgrims and enhance the overall experience of the sacred commemoration.

Musleh also noted the implementation of a field plan designed to manage the movement of processions within the Old City and on the roads leading to the shrine of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). This approach ensures the seamless entry and exit of processions, thereby minimizing disruptions to the flow of pilgrims.
