Baghdad:Sheikh Haider al-Gharawi, Secretary-General of the Ansar Allah al-Awfiya Movement, has reiterated the movement’s dedication to ceasing military operations within Iraq, aligning with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces regarding the completion of national sovereignty.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, Al-Gharawi issued a statement on Sovereignty Day, highlighting Iraq’s progress towards full sovereignty and the end of foreign presence on its territory. He emphasized the movement’s adherence to the agreed timelines established by various Iraqi factions, the Coordination Framework committee, and the government as part of the sovereignty project.

Al-Gharawi praised the efforts of the government, the Prime Minister, and national political forces in their pursuit to end foreign presence and safeguard Iraq’s sovereignty. He underscored the movement’s support for all measures that advance this goal.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Mujahideen and the Iraqi people, affirming the movement’s ongoing commitment to supporting Iraq’s security, unity, and the dignity of its citizens.
