Ansar Allah Claims Attack on US Aircraft Carrier and Strikes in Israel

Sanaa: The Yemeni “Ansar Allah” group, also known as the Houthis, has announced that its forces targeted the US aircraft carrier “Harry S. Truman” in the Red Sea and executed attacks on military targets in Israel.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ansar Allah Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree declared in a military statement broadcast on Al-Masirah TV that a joint military operation was carried out by the missile force, unmanned air force, and naval forces. The operation targeted enemy warships, specifically the US aircraft carrier “Truman,” which they claim is launching aggression against Yemen.

Saree detailed that the confrontation and engagement with enemy forces lasted for several hours. He emphasized that the armed forces continue to confront the aggression in the Red Sea effectively and are responsibly managing developments within the operational area.

Furthermore, Brigadier General Saree mentioned that the Air Force had previously targeted Israeli military targets in the occupied Jaffa area using drones, achieving the operation’s objectives. The spokesman reiterated Ansar Allah’s stance on confronting American aggression and responding to escalation with escalation.

The group aims to prevent Israeli navigation in designated operational areas and continues operations against Israel until aggression ceases and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted. This marks the eighth attack by Ansar Allah on the US aircraft carrier in recent days, correlating with ongoing airstrikes on territories under their control. Additionally, their recent attack on Israel is the sixth since Tel Aviv restarted military operations in the Gaza Strip last Tuesday.
