Beirut: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has condemned Israeli aggression against civilian facilities in southern Lebanon, highlighting the potential challenges this poses for the international community.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Aoun stated that southern Lebanon is once again experiencing blatant aggression without any pretext. He expressed concern over the timing of the attacks, which follow the recent ceasefire agreement in Gaza, suggesting that this could lead to new challenges for both Lebanon and the global community.

Aoun emphasized the danger of such aggression, noting that some parties might be attempting to compensate for the situation in Gaza by targeting Lebanon. He warned that this could be a strategy to sustain political interests through violence.
