London: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed to his British counterpart, Ed Miliband, Iran's intention to establish mechanisms for cooperation with Oman to manage navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and warned that "obstruction by third parties will complicate the situation."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi discussed the latest regional and international developments and bilateral relations in a phone call with Miliband on Friday evening. Araqchi accused Britain of complicity in the American and Israeli aggression against Tehran and demanded a review of this approach.

During the call, the Iranian minister considered Britain's "inappropriate" approach towards Iran, exemplified by London's recent decision to classify the Iranian armed forces as a threat to British national security, as well as its complicity in the two wars waged by America and Israel against Iran, to be unjustified and reprehensible. He stressed the need for the British government to reconsider this course.

For his part, the British Foreign Secretary emphasized the necessity of continuing diplomatic efforts with Iran to improve relations and reduce tensions in the region.
