Araghchi Warns of New War Amid Regional Tensions

Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has asserted that the region remains skeptical about Iran’s capability to launch strikes, suggesting that adversaries may lack the capacity for an effective retaliation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi shared a personal anecdote from the third day of an ongoing conflict, detailing an early morning call from a foreign minister of a neighboring country. The foreign minister warned him of an impending strike on an Iranian target at 8:00 AM, advising Iran not to respond to prevent further escalation.

Araqchi recounted his firm response, indicating that any attack on Iran would lead to war not only with America and Israel but also with the country initiating the strike. This exchange highlights the fragile state of relations and the potential for conflict escalation in the region.
