Arrest of 12 Wanted Individuals in Karbala Following Enhanced Security Measures


KARBALA: Security forces in Karbala have successfully apprehended 12 individuals wanted for various legal offenses, as part of an intensified operation by the External Controls Department aimed at maintaining public safety in the region. The operation also led to the seizure of four motorcycles that were in violation of traffic regulations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were made possible through the diligent efforts of security personnel who have been conducting thorough searches of people and vehicles. By activating security computers across all security axes of the governorate, authorities were able to identify and detain the individuals. The enhanced security measures are part of a broader initiative to curb criminal activity and ensure compliance with the law.
