Baghdad:The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Farhad Amin Atroshi, held a meeting with the Romanian Ambassador to Iraq, Radu Octavian Dobre, at his official office in Baghdad on Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered on activating parliamentary friendship committees between Iraq and Romania. The meeting also focused on supporting coordination concerning legislation and laws and strengthening bilateral relations across various fields between the two nations.

Additionally, the dialogue covered several international issues of mutual interest, notably energy and oil exports, along with the security and economic challenges facing Iraq and its neighboring countries. They also explored ways to encourage investment by international companies, utilizing their expertise in construction, development, and services to benefit both Iraq and Romania.
