Baghdad: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has affirmed his country’s commitment to continuing cooperation with Iraq across multiple fields. In a joint press conference with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Bayramov emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and fostering a unified vision on international matters.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Bayramov highlighted plans to enhance collaboration in the humanitarian and educational sectors. He announced the activation of a scholarship program between Azerbaijan and Iraq, aimed at boosting academic exchanges. Additionally, Bayramov noted that efforts would be made to encourage travel, economic, and cultural interactions between the two nations.
