Hillah: Detachments at the Martyr Colonel Salam Shanoon checkpoint, affiliated with the Babil Governorate Police Command, arrested a person wanted by the Arab and International Police (Interpol) in a murder case. This arrest occurred during searches and verification of names and security databases at the checkpoint, north of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini stated, “The accused is wanted in an Arab country on charges of murder.”
