Babil: The Babil Provincial Council has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, will be an official holiday to support the movement of Arbaeen pilgrims. The holiday applies to all government departments and institutions in the province, excluding service and security services.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the council's decision aims to accommodate the significant number of pilgrims participating in the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) as they return to Babil province from various directions. Council Chairman Asaad al-Muslawi emphasized that the suspension of official working hours will not apply to departments involved in the pilgrimage plan.
