Babylon Police Dismantle a Gang Specializing in Tik-Tok Stealing in North Hillah

Babylon: Babylon Police detachments were able to dismantle a gang specializing in tik-tok stealing. The gang consisted of several suspects involved in several tik-tok thefts in Al-Saddah district, north of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Adel Al-Hussaini, Director of Media for the Babylon Police, stated, "As soon as the news of the thefts of this type of vehicle was received, a specialized team was formed and began investigating, gathering information, and monitoring surveillance cameras." The precise security action taken led to uncovering the identity of the perpetrators and tracking their route to the location where the stolen vehicles were hidden. They were discovered being dismantled inside a tik-tok repair shop, in preparation for altering their features and repainting them.

He further elaborated, "The perpetrators explicitly confessed to committing the crime, and their statements were verified by the judiciary." A forensic examination was conducted in the presence of the competent authorities, leading to their arrest in accordance with the provisions of Article (446) of the Iraqi Penal Code.
