Baghdad:The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, has announced his decision to withdraw from the Kurdistan Regional Government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Talabani expressed his discontent in a speech by stating, “We are withdrawing from the failed Kurdistan Regional Government, and we will not recognize what the regional parliament has approved.”

He further addressed members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, criticizing them for intimidating people and stating, “You are the ones who forced us to take this stance. We could have also threatened members of parliament, but we didn’t.”
