Baghdad: The Iraqi Institute for Dialogue confirmed on Sunday that the “Baghdad Dialogue” forum will bring together political leaders and local and international experts to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnerships. The institute indicated that the dialogue’s outcomes will support the state’s efforts and strengthen regional and international cooperation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Institute Director Abbas Radhi Al-Amiri stated in a press release that the eighth edition of the Baghdad International Dialogue will be held under the auspices of the Prime Minister on August 21 and 22 in Baghdad. The event aims to discuss the performance of the ninth government’s first 100 days and Iraq’s vision for transitioning from crisis management to building strategic partnerships.

He added that the conference will be held under the slogan “100 Days Since the Formation of the Ninth Government: Iraq from Crisis Management to Building Strategic Partnerships,” highlighting its significance at a pivotal stage for Iraq and the region. The dialogue will provide a platform for evaluating the new government’s first 100 days and discussing priorities for the next phase to enhance security, stability, and development.

The eighth edition of the Baghdad International Dialogue will gather a select group of political leaders, decision-makers, thinkers, experts, and academics from Iraq, the region, and the world. The aim is to exchange views on prominent regional and international challenges and explore opportunities for cooperation and partnerships that support development and stability.

Al-Amiri affirmed that the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue is actively preparing to welcome participants and guests from inside and outside Iraq. He expressed hope that the outcomes of this edition will contribute to supporting the efforts of the Iraqi state and strengthening regional and international cooperation to serve common interests.
