Baghdad: Panel discussions and book signings continue at the Baghdad International Book Fair. The 27th Baghdad International Book Fair, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, continues its activities under the slogan “Baghdad, Capital of Islamic Culture 2026.” The fair features a diverse cultural program, including dialogue sessions, artistic activities, and awareness campaigns, reflecting the richness of Iraqi cultural output and its presence at this event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, on Thursday, September 3rd, the fair’s program included a dialogue session organized by the Young Architects Society, titled “Historical Cities and Their Hidden Heritage.” This session discussed the architectural identity of Baghdad and other Iraqi cities, the role of heritage buildings in supporting the economy and boosting tourism, and the challenges associated with defining the architectural identity of cities.

Additionally, the House of Wisdom held a dialogue session titled “The Human Self and Artificial Intelligence: The Problem of Presence and Absence.” The fair also hosted a book signing for journalist and content creator Iman Subhi’s book, “What If.”
