Baghdad: The Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services, affiliated with the Ministry of Trade, announced on Wednesday the adoption of a new date for the 50th Baghdad International Fair. This decision comes as part of early preparations to ensure a distinguished event with broad international participation.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company stated that the relevant authorities have approved the period of January 23-29, 2027, as the official dates for the fair, replacing the previously scheduled dates of February 1-7, 2027. The decision to change the dates was made after careful consideration of logistical and organizational circumstances, as well as the fact that the previous dates coincided with the holy month of Ramadan next year.
The company emphasized that adopting an alternative date allows for wider participation from Arab and foreign countries and companies. This change aims to ensure the best organizational conditions for this important international economic event, befitting the fair's long-standing reputation. The fair is expected to contribute to strengthening economic and trade relations between Iraq and various countries around the world.
