Dollar Exchange Rate Increases in Baghdad Markets

Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate rose in Baghdad markets as the local stock exchange closed. The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar saw an increase this evening in Baghdad markets.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar recorded an increase in the main Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 154,350 dinars per 100 dollars, compared to 153,850 dinars per 100 dollars this morning. This rise reflects a notable change in the market dynamics as the trading day came to a close.

The selling price of the dollar in exchange shops in Baghdad's local markets reached 154,750 dinars per 100 dollars. Meanwhile, the buying price was recorded at 153,750 dinars per 100 dollars, indicating a significant shift from earlier in the day.

In Erbil, the dollar also experienced an increase, with the selling price reaching 154,200 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying price at 154,100 dinars per 100 dollars. This development in Erbil mirrors the trend observed in Baghdad, marking a consistent rise in the dollar's value across key Iraqi markets.
