Barcelona: FC Barcelona, the reigning Spanish league champions, will face Al Ahly of Egypt today, Wednesday, in the Joan Gamper Trophy match at Camp Nou.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this marks the 61st edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy, scheduled to kick off at 9:00 PM Mecca time. This match represents Barcelona’s first home game of the 2026-2027 season and coincides with the official presentation of the team to its fans.

The Joan Gamper Trophy returns to Camp Nou following its reopening. Last year’s edition took place at the Johan Cruyff Stadium against Italian side Como 1907, while the two editions before were held at the Stade Louis Companys, hosting Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur.

Notably, Al Ahly will make history as the first Egyptian club and the first African team to participate in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
