Basra: Basra Heavy and Basra Medium crude prices recorded a significant increase of more than 5%. Basra Heavy crude prices rose by $3.74, equivalent to 5.08%, reaching $77.30. Meanwhile, Medium crude prices increased by $3.79, equivalent to 4.94%, reaching $80.55.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the rise in Basra crude prices aligns with the global trend, as global oil prices climbed to $80. Brent crude recorded a price of $80.03 today, marking an increase of 11 cents, or 0.14%. Similarly, US Texas crude saw an increase of 22 cents, bringing its price to $77.73.
