Basra: Basra Civil Defense teams successfully managed to control 95% of the fire that erupted due to a turbine explosion at Zubair Warehouse 1, located at the Burjisiya site.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate’s media confirmed that the collaboration between their teams and the Basra Oil Company firefighting units played a crucial role in managing the blaze. The fire, which broke out in the early morning hours, has been mostly contained, and efforts are ongoing to completely extinguish it.

Tragically, the fire led to the death of one Basra Oil Company employee and caused injuries to four others. Authorities are expected to announce the complete extinguishment of the fire soon, as efforts continue to ensure the safety of the site and personnel involved.
