Basra: Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani met with Turkish Consul in Basra, Muhannad Ozgun, to discuss enhancing service coordination and cooperation between the governorate and Ankara. This meeting served as a continuation of Al-Eidani’s recent trip to Turkey, which included stops in Ankara and Istanbul, focusing on key issues like water and health.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to address the outcomes of Al-Eidani’s visit to Turkey. The visit involved discussions on crucial matters with a specialized technical delegation. Al-Eidani emphasized the local government’s commitment to maintaining dialogues with the Turkish side to devise practical solutions for the service challenges that Basra faces.
