Basra: The Basra Operations Command denied reports of a drone crash in Al-Intisar neighborhood.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command’s media office stated that an on-site investigation of the fire in Al-Intisar neighborhood of Al-Haritha district on Monday revealed no drone crash. The Civil Defense teams reported that the fire was caused by children playing with fire, leading to the burning of grass and trees in the area. The statement confirmed that circulating reports about a drone crash were false.

The statement further clarified that there were no casualties or significant material damage from the incident, and the fire was fully extinguished by the Civil Defense teams. The Command urged citizens to disregard rumors or inaccurate news circulating on social media and to rely on official sources for information, in order to maintain security and public order.
