Basra: Basra is exploring expanding youth rehabilitation programs and launching new training workshops. The Deputy Governor of Basra for Labor and Social Affairs, Muhannad Abdul Rahim Al-Saad, discussed with the Director of the Labor and Vocational Training Department, Ahmed Jamal, the latest developments regarding upcoming training courses aimed at developing the skills of young people through training programs and workshops.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Saad stated in a press release following his meeting with Jamal that training workshops will be launched in the coming days at the training centers affiliated with the Directorate of Labor and Vocational Training, after the completion of the application process by those wishing to enroll.

For his part, the Director of the Labor and Vocational Training Department said, “An agreement will be signed in the coming days with a security company operating in the governorate to train approximately 500 young people according to the work standards adopted within security companies.” He indicated that the announcement of this program will be made after the completion of administrative requirements and the conclusion of the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
