Basra: Basra police have uncovered the circumstances of a murder in the Al-Hindiya (Al-Tajawuz) area and are actively pursuing the perpetrator. The incident is linked to a financial dispute over the sale of a motorcycle.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Governorate Police Command disclosed that after thorough investigations and information gathering, they identified the suspect responsible for the murder. The perpetrator allegedly killed the victim due to a delay in payment for the motorcycle.

The police statement further revealed that the suspect has a previous criminal record and was recently released under a general amnesty. The suspect resides in an informal settlement, and local authorities plan to remove informal housing linked to criminal activities.
