Basra: A security force found the bodies of two people, a father and his son, killed by gunfire in the Jrishan area within the Arjabi desert in the Safwan district, southwest of Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source confirmed that the two bodies belong to a man born in 1983 and his 18-year-old son. Both had suffered gunshot wounds, reportedly due to disputes. The bodies were subsequently transferred to Al-Zubair Hospital.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to uncover its circumstances.
