Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the finding of the body of drowned young man Hussein Basim, from the city of Samawah, on Wednesday evening, after 15 days of continuous searching in the Tigris River.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baghdad Al-Karkh Police Command stated in an official statement: “After continuous efforts that lasted for more than (15) days, the river rescue teams /Al-Karkh / were able to find the body of the drowned young man Hussein Basim Al-Jayashi, after he was identified by his family, following intensive search and rescue operations in the Tigris River in the heart of Baghdad.”
In a related context, the river rescue teams found another body, that of an elderly man, during the search operations for Hussein Al-Jayashi in the Tigris River.
