London: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed today, Thursday, that Britain is working to strengthen its defense operations in the Middle East.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Starmer stated in a press conference that military capabilities have been deployed in the region to defend British interests. He emphasized the importance of negotiations with Iran to reach a settlement as the best course of action. Additionally, Starmer noted the departure of the first flight to evacuate Britons from the Sultanate of Oman, with 4,000 British citizens on board.
