Baghdad:The Council of Arab Central Banks and Monetary Authorities’ Governors has elected Nizar Nasser Hussein, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, as Vice Chairman.

According to Iraqi News Agency, this appointment marks a significant achievement for Iraq’s monetary policy sector. The Vice Chairman position is considered the second-highest in the Arab world within the domains of banking, central banks, and monetary management.
