CF Reviews Financial and Economic Challenges Amid Regional Conflict


Baghdad: The Coordination Framework-CF on Monday discussed the financial and economic situation in the country amid the repercussions of the war in the region, as well as the issue of completing the formation of the government.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Coordination Framework indicated that the organization held its regular meeting with the presence of the Prime Minister to discuss the latest developments at both domestic and international levels. It was noted that the Prime Minister assured that discussions related to completing the government formation are expected to conclude during the current week. This is in preparation for sending the proposal to the Council of Representatives next week for a vote.

The statement further detailed that the Coordination Framework deliberated on the financial and economic situation of the country, especially considering the impact of the ongoing war in the region and the disruption of maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, discus
sions included the progress on vital and urgent legislation, primarily the General Budget Law and the Popular Mobilization Forces Law.
