Sulaimaniyah: A new fire erupted at a gas station situated behind the Sulaimaniyah Governorate building, marking the second incident of its kind within a 24-hour period, as confirmed by the Civil Defense Directorate in Sulaimaniyah Governorate.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Aram Ali, the spokesperson for the Sulaimaniyah Civil Defense Directorate, stated that the fire’s direct causes remain unclear and are currently under investigation. The fire occurred at the station located behind the governorate building in the evening. Citizens have been advised to stay away from the area as a precaution.

Aram Ali further mentioned that it is not yet determined whether there were any casualties or injuries resulting from the fire. The Civil Defense Directorate continues to monitor the situation closely, ensuring public safety and investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
