Baghdad: Civil Defense teams extinguished a fire that broke out in a restaurant in the Atifiya area of Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense Directorate stated in a press release that the fire began in a food packaging materials storage area inside the ‘Salem Daaboul’ restaurant. The incident was managed with the participation of eight firefighting teams and a fire truck.

The statement further noted that the fire was successfully extinguished, preventing its spread to other areas, and reported no injuries as a result of the incident.
