Baghdad: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, has directed the immediate entry of individuals stranded at the al-Shaib and al-Shalamja border crossings.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Zaidi has also ordered the dismissal of the Maysan Provincial Police Chief. Additionally, the directors of the security agencies in Maysan have been transferred to the command and referred for investigation. This move comes in response to recent security breaches in the province.
