Baghdad: The Coordination Framework has emphasized the critical need for the approval of key legislative measures that citizens have been eagerly awaiting, with the Personal Status Law being the most prominent among them. This call to action was made during a regular meeting attended by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, where both domestic and international issues were on the agenda.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Coordination Framework’s media department released a statement highlighting the meeting’s proceedings. The meeting began with the group extending heartfelt congratulations to the Iraqi army on its national holiday, celebrating the army’s bravery in overcoming extremist threats. Prime Minister al-Sudani provided an overview of the current security and political landscape in the region, commending the security forces and the army for their significant contributions to national security.
