Baghdad: The Council of Ministers has voted to dismiss seven Directors General in the Baghdad Municipality and the Ministry of Electricity, while also appointing 17 Directors across various ministries. The decision underscores a shift in leadership within these sectors.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized that the appointment of Directors General is not a shield against evaluation and accountability. He stated that if these officials fail to perform their duties or manage their administrative tasks adequately, they would still be subject to assessment.
During the cabinet session held today, al-Sudani highlighted that the performance evaluation process is continuously monitored by a designated committee. This indicates a commitment to maintaining efficiency and accountability within government operations.
