Baghdad: Lieutenant General Zaid Hoshi al-Moussawi, Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, and Lieutenant General Qasim Mohammed Saleh al-Muhammadi, Commander of the Ground Forces, affirmed on Sunday the importance of strengthening security and military coordination and integration.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Counter-Terrorism Service stated that Lieutenant General Zaid Hoshi al-Moussawi received Lieutenant General Qasim Mohammed Saleh al-Muhammadi and his accompanying delegation at the Service’s headquarters. The statement mentioned that congratulations were extended to al-Moussawi on his new position.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized their commitment to expanding cooperation and enhancing ongoing coordination between the Counter-Terrorism Service and the Ministry of Defense. This step aims to achieve integrated performance and improve the efficiency of security and military operations in the country.
