Baghdad: The Counter-Terrorism Service announced today, Monday, the statistics on its operations during 2025.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Service indicated that the results of the activities carried out by the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service, from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, amounted to 320 operations. The number of those arrested reached 138 terrorists, and 20 enemy combatants were killed, while 363 hideouts were destroyed.

The Service added, “We renew our promise to our people that we will exert more effort in 2026 to achieve a safe and stable Iraq.”
