Maysan: Detachments from the Maysan Anti-Crime Department, in joint coordination with the Falcons Intelligence Cell, have successfully dismantled a criminal gang consisting of four individuals involved in robbery, theft, and tribal assaults in various areas of the city center of Al-Amara.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Maysan Police Command reported that the operation followed intensive field efforts. These efforts included monitoring, tracking, and the use of precise technical methods to follow the suspects’ movements. These methods led to the identification of the suspects’ locations, their subsequent encirclement, and eventual arrest.

The Command further revealed that during initial investigations, the accused confessed to committing several robberies and thefts, engaging in tribal assaults, and attempting to kill a citizen. The statements provided by the accused were verified before the competent judicial authorities.
