Death Toll in Gaza Strip Rises Amid Ongoing Israeli Aggression

Gaza city: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,670 martyrs and 174,682 wounded. This escalation in casualties marks a significant increase since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Gaza Health Authority reported in a statement that hospitals in the Strip received one martyr and 30 wounded in the past 24 hours. The number of victims recorded since the ceasefire last October has increased to 1,359 martyrs and 4,571 wounded.

The agency also revealed that 831 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of destroyed buildings. Many victims remain trapped under the debris, with rescue efforts hampered by limited resources and logistical challenges due to the complete siege imposed on Gaza. The siege continues to affect the availability of essential rescue equipment and medical supplies, complicating the efforts of ambulance and rescue teams on the ground.
