The Ministry of Defense announced the martyrdom of Colonel Khaled Naji Wasak, Commander of the 2nd Regiment, 93rd Infantry Brigade, 21st Infantry Division, along with a number of the regiment’s heroic fighters, as a result of their response to a terrorist attack within the sector of responsibility.
The Ministry said in a statement, ‘It mourns the loss of its heroic martyr, Colonel Khaled Naji Wassak, commander of the 2nd Regiment/93rd Infantry Brigade/21st Infantry Division, and a number of the regiment’s heroic fighters, who were martyred on Monday, May 13, 2024, as a result of their response to a terrorist attack within Responsibility secter.
It added, ‘The heroic martyr and our brave fighters participated in strengthening the military units that repelled the terrorist attack, as their remnants escaped.
