Washington: 14 Democratic governors in the United States have expressed their solidarity with Ukraine following a quarrel between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Friday. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the governors released a statement criticizing Trump and his deputy J.D. Vance for rebuking Zelensky over his distrust of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The statement urged Americans to uphold democratic values rather than undermine Zelensky's efforts to defend Ukraine and its people following the Russian invasion. The statement was endorsed by the governors from Kentucky, Wisconsin, Washington, Massachusetts, New York, Kansas, New Mexico, Maine, New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Minnesota, along with the governor of Michigan.
