Baghdad: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities for Cultural Affairs, Fadhil al-Badrani, highlighted the significant role that cultural activities play in augmenting the value of Baghdad and other provinces in Iraq. According to National Iraqi News Agency, a ministry statement revealed that al-Badrani recently convened with a development advisory team from Anbar province to discuss the pivotal role of cultural endeavors.

During the meeting, al-Badrani underlined that cultural activities are crucial in fortifying the heritage and societal awareness of Iraq’s provinces. He asserted that culture is synonymous with awareness, which is cultivated through the preservation of both tangible and intangible heritage within society.

Furthermore, al-Badrani emphasized the need for a collaborative effort between governmental and non-governmental institutions. He noted that such cohesion is vital for serving the interests of all provinces, which, in turn, benefits the nation and its citizens as a whole.
