Mosul: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity for Transmission and Distribution Affairs, Khalid Ghazai, has announced the initiation of an extensive field campaign aimed at addressing violations on the electrical grid across the governorates of Nineveh, Salah al-Din, and Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ghazai revealed that the campaign’s primary objective is to reduce energy waste and enhance the stability of the electrical system. He emphasized that technical teams, working in conjunction with security forces, will be actively involved in removing encroachments and pursuing legal action against those who violate the grid.

Ghazai remarked that encroachments on the grid are considered an attack on public funds. By eliminating these violations, the campaign is expected to restore significant amounts of energy, improve distribution fairness, and increase the efficiency of the networks. He further urged citizens to cooperate with the relevant personnel to support the stability and reliability of electricity services.
